Hi grandma! It’s me, Timmy. How are things for you? I know it must be difficult adjusting to your new home, but think of it this way: at least your room back here was pretty small, too. Are you getting along with your new roommate? Her family must not visit often because she always has those three teardrops under her eye. She seems lonely. Maybe you can teach her about crocheting or something. I tried to bring you the knitting needles you asked me to, but the big man at the front desk told me “no way.” Gosh, what’s his deal?

I’m sorry that the cake didn’t make it through, either. I still am not sure why you wanted me to bake that bag of powdered sugar into the middle, but that seemed to really get the guards ticked off. I guess they’re just concerned about your diabetes.

Remember that time when you made me meet Uncle Ricky in the park after dinner time to trade backpacks? He was standing right next to the big blue slide in Cherry Park. That’s my favorite place to play! Anyways, I hear Uncle Ricky is in the same home as you now. That’s funny, I thought these places were only for old people. Do you ever eat dinner together? Also, are you sure he’s my uncle? Daddy swears he’s never heard of him before.

Anyways, I’ve gotta go to soccer practice now. Hopefully we can come visit you again soon! And hopefully this time I won’t slip in a pool of kool-aid on the way to your room. Take care!
